Cozy Orange Autumn

All the way home

Rode home alone that misty autumn night
5 hours straight, diffused moonlight
gil scott had just passed
his musical light still shining bright
he played on repeat as the hours passed
overalls and stale gum where I stopped and got gas
on the road it was desolate, there was no-one to pass
and from that cold lonely feeling i fled fast
I had cobblestone streets locked in my sights

The Woes

Long talks and solo walks

it's a cold cold world

we don't have a lot

the 1% are trying to balk

stand in solidarity till we get what we want

I think it's clear we'll never bridge the gap

Look up lovely one

the clouds move with the wind

this changing time of year

the leaves float down in the wind

seems like when it rains it pours

even the cold steel moves

ever so slightly with the wind

lets take a walk, just you and me

to get lost in the ether of our dreams

we'll find a side street

stop and get tea

and go slow, to better get to know the wind

homecooked food and overpriced booze
big city of dreams
watch the loneliness ooze

country moves and city crews

charge it to tha game - whatevers left on it,
